Aftercare

Your long term success is our goal. Toward that end, we’ve designed an aftercare program that helps you sustain wellness in your life and progress in your career.

Addiction & Brain Chemistry

A major challenge for many ex-offenders is overcoming addiction or adapting to a new culture. Our aftercare program includes therapist-led groups that provide an avenue for discussion and training on how to remain free from addictive behaviors and maintain positive relationships in your personal and professional life.

Education

When used the right way, education can be a powerful tool for building and maintaining lasting success. In an effort to help you make the most of your talents and skill set, we provide a range of educational services that include driver’s education, GED courses, and specialized trade courses.

Family Intervention

Because for many, family matters can pose an additional challenge on their road to achieving lasting recovery, we provide an array of marriage and family counseling services that include:

  • Relationship conflict resolution
  • Grief and loss counseling
  • Stress management
  • Gay and Lesbian services
  • Trauma coping strategies

Medication Management

Proper medication management is often critical to maintaining lasting recovery for those who have been prescribed a treatment regimen. Because staying dedicated and diligent in your compliance with a treatment regimen can be difficult, our medical staff is available to help you develop strategies and routines for long-term medication compliance.

Aftercare Program

Following completion of our program, we want individuals to be equipped with an arsenal of recovery skills for different recovery situations that may be encountered in their newly sober lifestyle. As a part of our program, we developed a series of aftercare recovery groups that address common topics relevant to addiction, co-occurring disorders, and life after treatment. These groups include Therapist and BHT-led sessions in which individuals may work their recovery and discovery skills by participating in and discussing this with their peers. Topics currently include:

Therapist-led sessions in which individuals may participate and discuss with their peers:

  • Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS)
